Oct 27. Showers in the east, Otherwise largely sunny and cold.

A cold and frosty morning to start the day on Saturday with largely clear skies and temperatures falling close to or slightly below freezing.

Saturday afternoon will be cold but dry and clear with plenty of autumn sunshine. There will be a continued risk of the odd wintry shower over N/NE Scotland at first and some showers along the SE coast. Later in the day some cloud and rain will push in across Scotland from the NW ahead of an approaching warm front.
