Today
A sunny day in England and Wales with sunny spells and patchy cloud, although there will be the odd shower in southern areas. Elsewhere will be mainly cloudy with isolated showers, mainly in the east.

Tonight
A dry night for most areas across the UK, with a mixture of clear spells and variable cloud. In the early hours, winds will strengthen in the north-west with rain arriving towards dawn.

Friday
Tomorrow, a band of rain will move across the UK, becoming showery in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies in the east and south. Sunny spells elsewhere but scattered blustery showers in the north-west.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday
Saturday will be wet and windy for many areas of the UK as a band of rain moves south-eastwards across the country, with scattered, blustery showers following behind.
Sunday will bring showery rain to western areas throughout the day. Sunny spells across the east. Blustery winds.
Monday will be unsettled in the north and west, drier and brighter elsewhere.
