Day 20 – thundery showers with a moderate breeze

More rain.  But we still have 11 days to go for some good weather !!

 

This afternoon will be cloudy with scattered, heavy showers in England, Wales and south-east parts of Northern Ireland. Scotland will turn drier with sunny spells developing, mainly to the south.

Tonight

Tonight, the showers will ease to leave clear spells and a few patches of cloud in England, Wales and Scotland. Turning cloudy with scattered showers moving in from the west in Northern Ireland.

Tuesday

Tomorrow will see some early brightness in southern and eastern areas, but it will then be mostly cloudy with some scattered showers moving in from the west. Windy with sunny spells in the south.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Wednesday will see a drier day with some sunny spells and a few patches of cloud. It will then turn unsettled overnight as a deepening area of low pressure moves in from the west, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. This will continue on Thursday, with strong wind gusts expected in central and southern areas. Friday will be chilly with sunny spells and showers in the north.
