October has not been very cooperative this year. One week left 🙂
Today, the south and east will see strong, gusty winds. Heavy downpours for eastern England. Showers in western England and Wales. The north and west will be drier, with sunshine in western Scotland.
Tonight
Tonight, much of the south will be clear and chilly, but scattered showers will move into Wales and south-west England. The north will be cloudier, with some isolated showers and the odd clear break.
Friday
Tomorrow, the north will be cloudy with rain, mainly in eastern areas, where it will be windy. Sunny and dry for most in the south, but windier with blustery showers for Wales and the south-west.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
Saturday will be windy and chilly with showers in the far north, Wales and some east coasts. The showers will be wintry over the highest ground in Scotland. Sunday will stay windy and chilly. Largely dry and sunny to start, but a band of cloud will move into the west in the afternoon, with rain pushing into the northwest. Monday will stay breezy with showers in the north.
