Day 15 – more of the same

We can now share a picture of 2024 winners together now that Dom Bareford has returned to UK and Laurence Wigfield  has graciously allowed Dom to display the Long Jump Trophy on his mantlepiece until it is claimed by the next winners.

High pressure still dominates trapping wet air across UK

Today

Today, northern areas will see early mist and fog lift through the morning. Central Scotland, Wales and south-western England will then be dry and may see some sunshine. Cloudy elsewhere.

Tonight

Tonight will be cloudy and dry for most. Lengthier clear spells in the south-west, as well as in parts ofeastern Scotland. Light rain or drizzle in the far north and south-east.

Thursday

Tomorrow will remain generally cloudy and dry. Sunny spells in the morning here and there, but becoming largely cloudy later. Patchy light rain in the far north, and the odd shower in Kent.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Friday will be largely cloudy and dry. Light drizzle is possible along eastern coasts. Mostly cloudy on Saturday, and turning breezy in the west later. Spells of rain moving into Northern Ireland from the south-west in the afternoon. Sunday is expected to be wet and windy, especially across western and southern areas.
