The Gordon Bennett Balloon Race is due to start tonight in Metz in France.

If the weather behaves,  the 24 balloons will launch at 9 o’clock French time and the winner will be the team who lands furthest away from the launch site.

These tracks show the predicted winds at different altitudes so it will be an exciting race to follow.
