Day 9 – light rain and fresh breeze

Today, Wales, central and southern England will see cloud and blustery rain slowly moving south-eastwards. Elsewhere, sunny spells and scattered showers, heavy at times. Windy for all.

Tonight

Tonight, the north-west will be windy with variable cloud, clear spells and blustery showers. They will be heavy in western Scotland. Largely dry elsewhere, with plenty of clear spells.

Saturday

Tomorrow looks to remain windy, with showers in the north, especially the north-west, but southern regions should be generally dry with long sunny spells.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

Largely dry and settled on Sunday. There will be plenty of sunny spells, but in the southwest, cloud and patchy rain will move in by the end of the day. Monday will see some brightness in the east, but it will then turn cloudy and damp across the UK with spells of light rain. Tuesday will be windy. A band of cloud and rain will move in at first, followed by sunshine later.
