Today, the northwest will again see a mixture of patchy cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers. In northwestern Scotland, they will be heavy. Sunny spells and the odd shower elsewhere. Windy.

Tonight

Tonight, many areas will be dry and clear. In the far north, however, there will be cloud and showers. A few showers in the far west too. Cloud will push into the far southwest by dawn.

Sunday

Tomorrow will turn largely dry and settled. There will be plenty of sunny spells, but in the southwest, cloud and patchy rain will move in by the end of the day.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Monday will see some brightness in the east, but it will then turn cloudy and damp across the UK with spells of light rain. Tuesday will be windy. A band of cloud and rain will move in at first, followed by sunshine later. Scattered heavy showers will push into northwestern Scotland by the evening. Wednesday will be very windy in the north, with heavy rain. Dry in the south.
