Day 17 – Let’s go flying

Today will turn dry and sunny for most, but in the afternoon, the southeast will turn breezy with a few scattered showers. In the far north, the odd light shower cannot be ruled out either.

Tonight

Tonight, high-pressure will continue over much of the north and west with clear skies and dry conditions. A northeasterly breeze will bring patchy cloud to the east, and showers in the southeast.

Sunday

Tomorrow, the southeast will stay breezy with scattered showers, and rain by the end of the day. Elsewhere, dry with sunshine, but northeastern England will also see showers in the afternoon.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

On Monday, the south will turn mainly cloudy with patchy rain from the east. The north will be mainly dry and largely sunny. Tuesday looks to see cloud and patchy rain move in from the south, but the south-west may escape drier and brighter. On Wednesday, a band of cloud and rain will clear northeastwards in the morning, whilst another band of rain pushes into the west later.
