Northern parts wet and windy, drier and brighter further south.

Wet and windy weather over Scotland and Northern Ireland, spreading into northern England and Wales where the rain will become heavy. Brighter skies with showers following from the northwest. Mainly dry with warm sunny spells in the south and east.
