Sunny spells and showers will move across Wales and central and southern England during the morning, becoming more isolated later. Showers in northern Scotland but drier with sunny spells elsewhere.

Sunday will be drier with variable cloud and sunny spells, with the best of the sunshine in the afternoon, as a ridge of high pressure influences the weather over the UK. Monday will be turning unsettled as a band of rain moves across the UK during the day, but turning drier in western areas in the afternoon. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a few showery outbreaks of rain.
