Much of the UK will see cloudy skies and further rain, heavy in places. Brighter in southern Scotland and northern England but with showers. Windy and chilly in southernmost and south-east England.

Monday
Light rain may stretch from Northern Ireland to south-west England, this rain will move eastwards later. Sunny spells for most other parts but with scattered showers developing. Milder in the south.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
Tuesday will stay unsettled and rather breezy with some bright or sunny spells but also showers pushing eastwards, some of which could be heavy and thundery over southern England and Wales. Wednesday will see spells of sunshine and showers, these most likely in the north and west. Thursday will turn wet and very windy across the UK as a deep low crosses the country once again.
