Rain, heavy at times, across Northern Ireland, west Wales and southwest England will edge northeastwards through the day. Occasional drizzle may affect eastern Scotland and northeast England. In any sunshine it will feel warm for the time of year.
Monday 26 October—Sunday 1 November
Nothing too scary for halloween
Low pressure sitting to the west of the British Isles will be responsible for changeable weather during this week with bands of rain crossing the country from time to time. However Monday will stay dry across much of the country and staying mostly dry in the east on Tuesday. The first band of rain will move into western areas later on Monday, moving very slowly eastwards during Tuesday and Wednesday. The rain will finally clear from eastern areas on Wednesday night before a further band of rain will extend from the west towards the weekend. It will be quite windy with gales at times in coastal areas.
Winds throughout this week will be coming up from a southerly direction so daytime temperatures will be on the mild side both by day and by night meaning there’s no sign of the frost which affected many places on Sunday morning.
