Today
A mixture of sunny spells and showers, which could again turn heavy and thundery.
Longer spells of rain pushing south across Scotland and into northern England. Windier for Scotland and N Ireland.
Tonight
Rain will gradually clear away to the east during the night to leave it largely dry for most with clear spells, though a few showers may persist in the east for a time.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday
Monday looks to be largely dry for much of the UK, but rain is possible in the far north of Scotland and a low pressure system moving over the continent could bring some spells of rain in to the south-east.
A relatively similar story on Tuesday, with rain pushing into the far north-west.
A low pressure system could bring wet weather to the northern half of the UK on Wednesday.
