Day 18 – Squally rain clearing England & Wales

Bright or sunny at times, but with scattered showers, these heavy, squally and occasionally persistent and thundery in north and west, but fewer and lighter in the south and east where many places staying dry. Strong to gale northwesterly winds.
Tonight

Showers persisting in northern and western areas, but generally drier and clearer inland. Feeling chilly in the northwesterly breeze, these winds still strong to gale in the exposed north.
Wednesday

Most places will see some showers, these more prevalent in the north and west and near coasts. Bright or sunny at times. Feeling chilly with northwesterly winds fresh or strong.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday

Frosty at first on Thursday. Occasional showers in the north, then rain later. Turning milder. Heavy rain and windy in north and west on Friday and Saturday, drier in south.
