Tonight will begin dry for most with clear spells in places. However, rain will push into north-western areas before midnight, and spread across western areas throughout the night. Dry in the east.
Monday
A wet day, with rain spreading eastwards, reaching eastern fringes of East Anglia by mid afternoon. Becoming drier in Scotland and Northern Ireland later, but showers will soon develop.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a few showery outbreaks of rain, mostly in southern and eastern areas, but dry with sunny spells in Scotland. Wednesday will be a dry day for most, with plenty of sunny spells, however with a scattering of showers across the east. Thursday will be another mostly dry day, with patchy cloud, but also a few light showers in north-east Scotland.
