Day 2 – Foggy then sunny.

Mostly fine for the next few days; unsettled next week.

Mist and fog clearing, then plenty of further rather warm sunshine for many, but cloudier in the far north with a little light rain or drizzle. Northwestern parts cloudier than of late and noticeably cooler across much of Scotland.
Towards the end of the week we will start to see remnants of Atlantic fronts squeezing around the northern flank of the high pressure system, gradually bringing cloudier skies as we head towards the weekend. This cloud is likely to be fairly benign with any rain being light, patchy and confined to high ground.
