This year it makes sense to encourage entries any time during October.
Traditionally we requested entries before October 1 but we live in changing times.

Friday is day 1 of the Long Jump although the weather is not ideal.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Friday will continue unsettled and windy with another band of rain moving south-eastwards across the UK in the morning. Turning drier and brighter later, with a few showers.

Saturday may see some brightness to start, but it will become breezy with further spells of heavy rain later.

Sunday looks to be another unsettled day, with showers or spells of rain likely in places.
