Today
A blustery day with scattered showers across the country. Showers will be most frequent in western areas, but showers will become more widespread across the country this afternoon.

Tonight
Blustery winds and scattered showers will continue this evening, but showers will become increasingly confined to western areas overnight. Cloud and rain pushing into Northern Ireland and Wales later.

Thursday
Cloud and rain will push eastwards across Britain through the morning, and outbreaks of rain will continue across many areas through the afternoon. Mild, but with brisk, mainly southwesterly winds.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Friday will be an unseasonably mild day across England and Wales, but with rain in some areas. Meanwhile, Northern Ireland and Scotland will see showers, but sunshine should develop.
Saturday will be a very wet and windy day, as a deep area of low pressure nears. There will be spells of heavy rain, and accompanied by strong winds.
