Day 25 – blustery showers

Today
The day will start bright and breezy for many regions, but blustery showers will drift in from the south-west all day, mainly affecting N Ireland, Wales, southern England and western Scotland.

Tonight
The blustery conditions will continue tonight. Heavy showers and cloud will continue to affect N Ireland and many western regions of Britain. It will be drier and clearer to the east, but windy.

Monday
A cloudy and showery start for much of the UK tomorrow, sunny spells in N Ireland and south-east England. Cloud and showers will linger for many, but winds will ease and skies will clear by evening.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
South-westerlies will increase on Tuesday morning as a new frontal system passes over the UK throughout the day, bringing cloud and rain to all parts of the country.
Strong westerlies are likely on Wednesday introducing plenty of showers to western and southern coasts. Plenty of sunshine likely in the east.
Another band of cloud and rain likely for Thursday.
