Day 21 – mostly dry with sunny spells

Today
Much of the UK will be dry with bright or sunny spells.
However, it will be cloudier with rain at times for the south-east. Rain will also edge into the Northern Isles later, with freshening winds.

Tonight
Much of the country will be dry tonight with clear periods and some mist or fog patches.
However, cloud will thicken in Scotland and Northern Ireland, with rain pushing into north-west Scotland later.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday
On Wednesday, rain is expected to push across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Largely dry for England and Wales but with some showers for the south-east.
Thursday will see sunny intervals but with showers in the north and west.
Windy in the north. On Friday, rain looks to push across northern and western parts of the UK but the south-east should stay largely dry.
