A wet and breezy day for most, with a low bringing widespread rain, which may be heavy in parts of Wales at times. Windy as well with some strong gusts for the SW. The SE will stay mostly dry.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Monday looks to be mostly fine with high pressure over the England and Wales, with westerly flow in Scotland bringing in some showers. Tuesday the high will move off to the east, allowing a frontal system to approach the UK from the west, bringing rain for the northern and western regions. Wednesday rain will spread south with a ridge of high pressure building in behind.
